Welcome to Reel Golf. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website and game available at app.reel-golf.com ("the Game"). By accessing or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Game & Accounts
Reel Golf is a casual browser-based golf and fishing simulation game. You may play the game without an account or choose to authenticate via your mobile phone number to save scores, coins, upgrades, and trophies across sessions.
2. SMS Terms of Service (10DLC / Mobile Authentication)
When you provide your mobile phone number to authenticate your Reel Golf account, you agree to the following terms:
- Program Name & Description: Reel Golf Account Authentication Service. This program is used solely to deliver transactional One-Time Passcodes (OTP) for account login and identity verification.
- Opt-In: You opt in to receive verification messages by entering your mobile number into the Reel Golf login prompt and clicking "LOGIN" or requesting an authentication code.
- Message Frequency: Message frequency is strictly transactional and varies based on your login activity. You will receive one (1) message per verification request. No marketing, advertising, or unsolicited recurring messages will be sent.
- Rates Disclaimer: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Check with your mobile carrier for details on your plan's text messaging rates.
- Opt-Out & Cancellation: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply reply STOP to any verification text message you receive. After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message that you have been unsubscribed. Note that opting out of SMS will prevent you from signing in via mobile OTP until you re-initiate login.
- Customer Support / Help: If you experience issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or email our support team directly at support@reel-golf.com.
- Carrier Liability Disclaimer: Mobile carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use automated bots, scripts, or cheats to manipulate leaderboards, game scores, or coin balances.
- Enter fraudulent or unowned telephone numbers that do not belong to you.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or disrupt our backend APIs or game servers.
- Submit offensive, defamatory, or abusive usernames. We reserve the right to rename or remove inappropriate player handles.
4. In-Game Currency & Virtual Items
Coins, equipment upgrades (such as Graphite Rod, Titanium Reel, Braided Line, Super Bait, and Neon Ball), and badges earned in the Game have no real-world monetary value, cannot be redeemed for cash, and are licensed for personal, non-commercial entertainment within the Game only.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Game is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Reel Golf and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your access to or use of the Game or the messaging service.
7. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to revise or replace these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Game following any updates signifies your acceptance of the revised Terms.
